AFFF Education Event #3- Live Registry Demonstration
The Australian Fragility Fracture Foundation (AFFF) is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the care and outcomes of individuals with fragility fractures in Australia.
The Australian Fragility Fracture Registry is a project of the AFFF and is supported by SOSFA and Amgen Australia. It is run in conjunction with Osteoporosis NZ's New Zealand Fragility Fracture Registry, with the two registries combining to form the ANZFFR.
After getting Ethics approval in 2022 to begin collecting patient level data in Australia, the Registry is now officially operating. The AFFF is now engaging with fracture treating facilities to encourage them to participate in the Registry project.
To that end, the AFFF is hosting its first Education Event for 2023: a demonstration of the ANZ Fragility Fracture Registry (ANZFFR), with a specific emphasis on the patient management benefits it provides for participating facilities.
It will be held at 6pm AEDT on Thursday February 2023 via Zoom.
